Reaksyon ni Sen. Sonny Angara sa SONA ni PBBM

Malinaw na nailatag ng Pangulong BBM ang kanyang mga nais maisakatuparan sa susunod na mga buwan at taon. Mahaba-haba ang listahan ng ating Pangulo at ito'y susuportahan at pagkakaisahan ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso, lalo na ang mga nabanggit at plano niya para sa sektor ng agrikultura, kalusugan, turismo, enerhiya, imprastraktura, edukasyon at marami pang iba.

Matatayog at paniguradong hindi lakad sa parke ang mga ito. Klaro ang hinihiling niyang mataas na pamantayan na pagseserbisyo.

PINAPURIHAN ngayon ni Senator Sonny Angara, chairman ng Senate committee on Finance ang pagkakapili ng incoming Marcos administration kay Amenan Pangandaman, Concurrent Assistant Governor ng Banko Sentral ng Piipinas bilang bagong Kalihim ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM). 

"Napakahaba na ng karanasan ni Mina sa legislature at executive branches, kaya natutuwa akong makakatuwang namin siyang muli sa pag-aaral sa 2023 national budget sa mga darating na araw," ani Angara.

Senator Sonny Angara said today that the latest amendments to the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) charter will result in a stronger and more resilient banking system in the country.

A product of extensive consultations with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), the academe and stakeholders of the banking and financial sector, Angara said the new charter of the PDIC will streamline the operation of the government corporation so that it could focus on its core function of securing the deposits of the public by providing insurance coverage for banks.

MULING nanawagan si Senador Sonny Angara sa publiko, partikular sa mga ‘di pa nakapagpapabakuna na magpabakuna na kontra COVID upang mapangalagaan ang sarili laban sa virus.

Ito ang pahayag ng senador sa gitna ng muling pagtaas ng bilang ng mga kaso ng COVID sa bansa nitong mga nakaraang araw. 

Kaugnay ang panawagang ito ni Angara  sa pahayag ng Department of Health (DOH) na 85 porsyento ng mga pasyenteng may malalang COVID sa mga pagamutan ay pawang mga hindi pa bakunado.

Senator Sonny Angara today reminded the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) to settle all of its obligations, particularly to the private hospitals, which have accumulated to billions of pesos over time.

The Chairman of the Committee on Finance took note of the increase in the government subsidies provided to PhilHealth—from P71.3 billion in 2021 to P79.9 billion in 2022.

Now that the country has a steady supply of COVID-19 vaccines, Senator Sonny Angara today backed the call of the private sector to provide booster shots for its employees.
